Enniscoe House is located in a region renowned for its open peaceful spaces and its friendly, welcoming people. The combination of charming guest accommodation, spectacular scenery and the wide range of country-style outdoor activities make historic Enniscoe an ideal holiday destination at any time of year. At Enniscoe, you have the choice of staying at the fine Georgian country manor house and enjoying luxurious bed and breakfast accommodation; or you can choose the courtyard apartments, that provide simple and traditional farmhouse-style self catering accommodation. The Victorian walled garden has been restored under the Great Gardens of Ireland Restoration Scheme. Vegetables and Fruits in season are supplied to the house from the organic market garden. Enniscoe manor house is surrounded by mature woodland, through which paths run to the Lough Conn offering guests the ideal opportunity to enjoy local flora and fauna. The family portraits, antique furniture, open fires, good food and wine all contribute to the pleasant and relaxed atmosphere. The six guest bedrooms, all with private bathrooms are luxurious, spacious and some offer wonderful views of the lake and parkland. The historic self catering courtyard buildings are idyllically set in woodland surroundings, the two and three bedroom apartments are available for hire throughout the year. One can wander around the Victorian walled garden and grounds, or take a boat out and try some fishing on Lough Conn. You can learn about the local culture and traditions of Mayo by visiting the museum and the family history centre on the estate. Enniscoe is in close proximity to golf courses and clubs in Carne, Enniscrone and Ballina. Enniscoe is also an ideal base from which to go hiking, cycling and horse riding, or to discover the rich heritage of the region.
