Clare Surf Safari is a mobile surf school can pick up and drop off up to five learner surfers for a two hour surf lesson anywhere in County Clare. All equipment is provided and transport to and from the surf beach is free. Accessing a variety of surfing spots in County Clare including Lahinch, Spanish Point, Doughmore and Fanore, the safari gives both locals the tourists without transport or equipment the opportunity to learn to surf without the hassle of trying to make their own way to a surf beach. Instructor Dexter McCullough has been surfing for 25 years and has trained as an ISA recognised surf instructor with beach lifeguard qualifications. The essence of Clare Surf Safari is not only about surfing but taking in the sights en route to the waves, being with like minded people and experiencing the adventure of surfing life. Lessons are small and personal, relaxed and away from the crowds enabling the learner to gain confidence and technique. Intensive one-on-one lessons are available for both young and old however, children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult and under 18s must have parental consent form signed.
