Bundoran Golf Club in County Donegal was founded in 1894, and is one of the oldest golf clubs in Ireland. The course is a clifftop links on a headland overlooking Donegal Bay, along the Wild Atlantic Way. This golfer friendly course offers challenges for all levels of golfers. The course is situated in the town and offers panoramic views of the Atlantic Ocean with the magnificent Dartry Mountains as a backdrop. While playing the course, view surfers enjoying the rolling waves of the Atlantic Ocean, locals strolling on the famous cliff edge Roguey Walk, or even spot some marine visitors such as dolphins and seals. Designed by Harry Vardon, the Bundoran Golf Club is a testing 18-hole, par 70, with two loops of nine ending at the clubhouse. Harry's design philosophy was to give pleasure to golfers of all degrees and to ensure an enjoyable golfing experience and a warm welcome. The Club is one of the joint hosts of the annual West Coast Challenge Golf Tournament. Facilities include a practice area, putting green, bar, restaurant and pro shop.
