See what Ireland has in store for you
Immerse yourself in stories of castles and conquests, courage, superstition, murder and death at Tipperary Museum of Hidden History. Explore tales of two worlds, from rural life in 19th century Tipperary to the ‘Big Houses’ on the Suir Valley. Come face to face (literally) with Oliver Cromwell. Learn about one man and his boat and meet a host of heroes from the world of sports and entertainment. This multi-sensory experience is a must see on your journey into Ireland’s Ancient East. Tipperary Museum of Hidden History is a designated museum by the National Museum of Ireland, and this allows it to retain archaeological items of local significance and to borrow items of national and international importance. They also host regular (temporary) exhibitions, lecture series, workshops, extensive outreach and community programmes. The museum is also fully accredited under the Heritage Council’s Museum Standards Programme for Ireland (MSPI). They have audio-guides available in five languages. Tipperary Museum of Hidden History look forward to you visiting their ‘hidden gem’ in Clonmel, part of Ireland’s Ancient East.
